What is Boo Buddy?

Boo Buddy is a kawaii ghost character and Halloween kindness brand created for kids ages 3–8. Unlike surveillance-style holiday characters, Boo Buddy isn't watching your child — he's cheering them on. Every product is built around one simple idea: kindness makes the world glow brighter.

How is Boo Buddy different from the Christmas Elf?

Boo Buddy isn't a “behave-or-else” character. There's no hiding, no moving him around the house, and no surveillance element. Boo Buddy is a comfort companion who celebrates small acts of kindness with your child, all season long — no nightly setup required.

Is Boo Buddy scary?

Not at all. Boo Buddy is designed to be warm, glowing, and friendly — a gentle, non-scary introduction to Halloween for younger kids.

What age range is Boo Buddy for?

Boo Buddy is designed for children ages 3+. The Arrival Box plush and storybook set is tested and certified as a toy under ASTM F963. Accessories like the Glow Keychain and Glow Bracelet are tested and certified as general children's products.

What's included in the Arrival Box?

The Boo Buddy Arrival Box (MSRP $59.99) includes a glow-in-the-dark kawaii ghost plush, the hardcover storybook Boo Buddy: The Ghost Who Loves to Play, 31 Kindness Sparks Boo Cards (one for every day of the season), and a Parent Guide.

Is the First Edition limited?

Yes — the First Edition Arrival Box is limited to 4,500 units. Once they're gone, they're gone until future editions are released.

Can I buy the storybook or plush by itself?

Not currently — the storybook and plush are only available as part of the Arrival Box.

What other products do you carry?

Coloring Book ($9.99), Glow Bracelet ($1.99), Glow Keychain ($8.99), and the Ultimate Glow Bundle ($75.00).

Are Boo Buddy products safe for kids?

Boo Buddy is designed for children ages 3+. The Arrival Box plush and storybook set is tested and certified as a toy under ASTM F963. Accessories like the Glow Keychain and Glow Bracelet are tested and certified as general children's products.

Do you sell merch too?

Yes!  Boo Buddy apparel and merch, made to order, Print on Demand (Printful), and shipped separately from our main product line.

When does Boo Buddy launch?

Boo Buddy officially launches in August 2026! Presale begins August 1, 2026 — order early to make sure you're part of the First Edition.

Why is it a presale?

Because our First Edition is limited to 4,500 units, presale ensures every family who wants a Boo Buddy gets one before we sell out. Presale orders ship as soon as inventory arrives mid August.

When will my presale order ship?

We'll email you the moment your order ships. Mid August is the goal to get presale orders out. Follow along with launch updates by joining the BooVibe Tribe (our email community).

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping is a flat rate of $10. Orders of $75 or more (after any discounts) ship free!

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this time. 

How long does shipping take?

5 - 10 days.

What's your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return window on Boo Buddy Magic products (boobuddymagic.com) from the date of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging.

Can I return merch from BooBuddyFun.com?

Merch items on BooBuddyFun.com are made to order, so we're unable to accept returns for buyer's remorse (wrong size, changed your mind, etc.). If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us right away and we'll make it right.

How do I start a return?

Email us at eking@boobuddyworld.com with your order number, and we'll walk you through the next steps.

What is Boo Cares?

Boo Cares is our giving-back promise. A portion of Boo Buddy Arrival Box sales we will donate glow wristbands — each one carrying the message “You are seen. You are loved. You make the world glow brighter.” — to pediatric patients and children in schools who need a little extra light.

Do you offer a school fundraiser program?

Yes! Our school partnership program could include a free Kick-Off Assembly, a fundraiser window where your PTO earns money on every kit sold, and a Glow Launch Party to celebrate. (Must be local to the Hanover, PA area) Reach out to eking@boobuddyworld.com to bring Boo Buddy to your school.

Can I order Boo Buddy wholesale for my store?

Yes — we offer wholesale pricing with a minimum order quantity of 12 units. Contact eking@boobuddyworld.com for our line sheet and terms.

What is “Light Up the Night”?

It's Boo Buddy's official theme song and dance video — a fun, glowing celebration of the same kindness message at the heart of the brand.

Who made the video?

It was produced in partnership with Dance Works Studio in Hanover, PA and New Style Independent Pictures, and features a full cast of dancers, including special young guest performers. 

What's the vibe of the video?

Glowing blacklight and neon effects, a festive balloon arch, a lit-up BB sign, and a confetti cannon finale — all set to celebrate Boo Buddy's glow-with-kindness spirit.
